Pokemon Walk
A downloadable game for Android
Pokemon Walk is a fan-made location-based game. Experience a mobile game about finding Pokemon in the real world without getting bogged down by inventory management, microtransactions, or other constant interruptions.
Gameplay has been optimized for hyper-casual play. Items are entirely gone, fights are automated instead of being button-bashing, creatures are caught automatically upon their defeat. Just open the game and go for a walk, and it will handle the basics for you. Raids are available everywhere, anytime, and you will still need to build up your party of Pokemon to defeat those.
Plus, you can boost your Pokemon's strength well past their level by making them your buddy and taking them to places of interest. Parks, libraries, museums, nature reserves, cemeteries, and more! Each one you take your buddy to is a free boost to their power, and there's no limit to how many of them count. Swap your buddy often to keep a full team of powerful Pokemon ready for raids.
You can find and catch every single species and form from all 9 generations. Shiny pokemon can be found as well. You can even find a hand-picked set of new creatures from other fan games!
LEGAL NOTICE:
Obviously, I don't own Pokemon or make any claims that I do. This is interactive fan art I've wanted to do since the idea of walking around and catching creatures was proposed. But then, what kid didn't go "what if you could walk around IN REAL LIFE and catch pokemon" after playing on their Game Boy back in the day?

Normally I don't create accounts on websites like this but I just have to make one to tell you to keep it up! This game is genuinely pretty fun. I like it way better than the game that shall not be named.
Thanks! It's always great to find out people are enjoying it.
Oh yeah, why does some mons have no sprite at all? I got Enamorous from a raid and after I beat it, theres no sprite for her. And it says I can mega evolve her for some reason.
The missing sprites are a filesystem thing I can fix. I had before, but a new dev PC caused that bug again. The forces-of-nature might be misflagged in my data set, I'll update them to toggle forms instead of mega-evolve in the next update.
**Praise**
I'm not one to create accounts either, but I felt apart of something huge! You're doing an amazing job—this game is incredibly fun and engaging, far better than that other game. 😜 You've created something others and myself genuinely enjoy, this is truthful and I can't wait to see your next move. Keep it up—you've gained a new fan! (I also previously enjoyed your other game, RF:C, and I sincerely hope that your kid will find as much joy in this new game as I have.)
Always a bit intense downloading a random APK on my phone, but for the sake of supporting GPS games, I'm in!
Says it downloaded data, but the map is still solid grey with nothing on it.
Tried multiple places.
Try restarting the game, or walking about 500 feet in one direction into the next maptile. Those should be enough to force it to redraw.
Unironically pretty fun, it's basically a very cut down version of another location based monster catching game but it's not bad at all. I've been following the author's previous works and this is by far the most fun in my experience, scratches the same itch as that other game that shall not be named
Already a hit to me :) Thanks for the game
