ArtScroller

Trying to get off of social media, but still need something to flick past on your screen? ArtScroller uses the endless scrolling setup of social media, but fills it with your choice of images. Similar in concept to WikiTok, but different in execution. 

Download the core ArtScroller.apk file, and then one or more art packs. Leave them in your phones Downloads folder, the app will find them there automatically.  In the Options screen, you can choose to hide specific sets you've downloaded.

Double-tap on an image to open it for zooming (via pinch gestures) or panning around by dragging. Tap the Close button in the upper right corner to get back to the scrolling window.

Making an ArtPack requires Godot 4, and a simple file structure. Create an ArtPack folder, and 1 or more subfolders in there for your art set. The subfolders will have all the .png files to display, plus a "metadata.json" file with a simple schema.

Museum Packs - These packs contain images of museum artworks made available via open access. All images are public domain, available through the named museum's open access API.
